There’s something endlessly romantic about celebrating love not once, but twice, and that’s exactly what Anna and Ali Holden-Kerr chose to do. Their marriage journey began with an intimate legal ceremony at Jesmond Dene House on the 24th of May 2025, surrounded by just 35 of their closest family, followed by a beautifully relaxed celebration at Peace & Loaf. Then, on August 16th, they gathered again, this time with 90 of their loved ones, to share a larger, joy-filled celebration to showcase their love. 

When we first welcomed the lovely Abbie into Marrime to talk through her ideas for her wedding day, it was clear she had a strong sense of what she, and her now husband Thomas, wanted their wedding to feel like. Their beautiful wedding took place on the 19th of July 2025, at Pratis Barns, Fife, which brought together their vision effortlessly.

There’s a particular kind of magic that belongs to winter. Low sun catching on frosted stone. Candlelit aisles and glowing windows. Velvet ribbons, champagne coupes, softly sparkling tablescapes. It’s no surprise more of our brides are choosing November–February dates and looking for winter wedding dresses that feel as considered as their venues, flowers and stationery.
