STORE MANAGER
NEWCASTLE BOUTIQUE
Full Time, Permanent Role
The Marrime Store Manager is the heartbeat of our Newcastle boutique, ensuring every bride’s journey is flawless from the first hello to the final fitting. This role is responsible for driving store performance, maintaining exceptional service standards, and leading a passionate, style-savvy team.
With a natural ability to balance operational excellence and creative flair, the Store Manager is both a leader and a host — ensuring Marrime remains the destination for modern brides seeking an unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, inspire, and motivate the bridal stylist team to deliver world-class service and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
- Coach and mentor team members, identifying strengths and development areas.
- Manage rotas, schedules, and staffing to ensure the store is fully resourced at peak times.
2. Customer Experience
- Ensure the Marrime in-store journey is executed to brand standards for every bride.
- Handle complex client requests, escalations, and VIP appointments with discretion and professionalism.
- Monitor feedback and proactively improve the customer experience.
3. Sales & Performance Management
- Drive sales performance, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Analyse store performance data and implement action plans to improve results.
- Maximise upselling opportunities across dresses, accessories, and shoes.
4. Operational Excellence
- Oversee all store operations including stock management, visual merchandising, and store presentation.
- Ensure compliance with Marrime operational policies, procedures, and brand guidelines.
- Manage the opening and closing of the store, cash handling, and reporting.
5. Collaboration & Communication
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a store management or senior retail role, ideally within luxury fashion, bridal, or premium lifestyle brands.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional client service skills with a warm, confident, and approachable manner.
- Commercially driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive client situations with discretion and diplomacy.
- Must be available to work late nights, Saturdays, and occasional Sundays as required for appointments, events, and peak trading periods.
Desirable
- Experience in bridal retail or occasion wear.
- Understanding of luxury customer expectations and styling expertise.
- Familiarity with Shopify POS or similar retail systems.

- Passionate about weddings, style, and delivering unforgettable experiences.
- Calm under pressure, with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Approachable and collaborative, but confident in making decisions.
- Upholds Marrime’s luxury brand standards in every interaction.
- Proactive and hands-on — happy to step in wherever needed.
- Work closely with Marrime Head Office and brand partners on product launches, trunk shows, and in-store events.
- Support content creation and provide styling input for marketing campaigns.
- Communicate clearly with senior leadership on store performance, team updates, and customer trends.
