Working pattern: 5 days across Monday to Sunday, including regular weekend working and 1 evening per week
Anticipated start: November 2026

Introduction
Marrime is an award-winning independent bridal boutique in the heart of Jesmond, representing leading international designers and known for its modern, fashion-led and highly personal approach to bridal styling.
Every Marrime appointment is thoughtfully prepared and individually led. We want each bride to feel understood, supported and completely herself as she discovers the gown that feels right for her.
We are now looking for a full-time Luxury Bridal Stylist to join our close-knit team.
This is a skilled retail sales position combining one-to-one styling, thoughtful customer care, detailed product knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
The role asks for much more than a warm welcome or an interest in wedding dresses: it requires confidence, judgement, commercial awareness, personal responsibility and the ability to learn.
Previous bridal experience is not essential. We are more interested in the strength of your transferable experience, what you have achieved and your potential to become an exceptional Marrime stylist.
The Role
As a Luxury Bridal Stylist, you will take responsibility for delivering an exceptional experience for every bride while contributing to the continued success of the boutique.
Once fully trained, you will:
- Prepare for and lead bridal appointments from beginning to end, creating an experience that feels warm, personal and beautifully considered.
- Listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and understand each bride’s individual style, priorities and vision.
- Use your product and styling knowledge to recommend the gowns and accessories most relevant to her.
- Offer honest, sensitive and confident guidance, helping brides navigate an exciting and significant decision without pressure.
- Communicate comfortably with different personalities and ensure brides and their guests feel welcomed and well looked after.
- Follow up thoughtfully with brides and take responsibility for the customer journey beyond the initial appointment.
- Develop and retain detailed knowledge of Marrime’s designers, gowns, fabrics, silhouettes, sizing, lead times and styling possibilities.
- Conduct bridal, second, accessory and collection appointments to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain complete accuracy across customer details, gown information, orders and essential administration.
- Prepare, steam and care for gowns and accessories, supporting deliveries, stock organisation and the presentation of the boutique.
- Use quieter periods purposefully, continuing to learn and noticing what needs attention without waiting to be asked.
- Contribute to shared sales goals, team standards and the ongoing development of the Marrime experience.
- Participate in Marrime’s social content, including occasional appearances in front of the camera.
This is an active, hands-on boutique role as well as a client-facing one. Every member of the team contributes to appointment preparation, gown care, organisation and maintaining Marrime’s presentation standards.
About You
You may currently work in consultative sales, premium retail, fashion, hospitality, events or another customer-led environment. You may also come from a less obvious background but have clear evidence of the qualities and capacity the role requires.
You are likely to thrive at Marrime if you:
- Build trust naturally and communicate with warmth, clarity and confidence.
- Enjoy selling and can help customers make decisions in a way that feels considered and genuine.
- Are commercially aware, motivated by achievement and comfortable taking responsibility for your contribution.
- Learn quickly and are willing to master a substantial amount of detailed product and process information.
- Remain focused and maintain high standards throughout busy, demanding appointment days.
- Are perceptive and able to adjust your approach to different customers and situations.
- Are meticulous with details and understand the importance of accuracy when handling significant purchases and high-value gowns.
- Take initiative, notice what needs to be done and follow responsibilities through to completion.
- Respond constructively to clear feedback and use it to improve your work.
- Are dependable, self-aware and considerate of the effect your performance has on a small team.
- Have a genuine interest in fashion, styling and the Marrime aesthetic, together with the discipline required to turn that interest into expertise.
You do not need to be the loudest person in the room. You do need the presence to take ownership of an appointment, remain composed and make every bride feel that she is in capable and caring hands.
Training and Development
You will receive structured training in Marrime’s client experience, sales approach, designers, collections, styling, systems and operational standards.
Your first weeks will combine guided learning, observation and practical experience. You will begin leading appointments progressively as your knowledge, judgement and confidence develop.
For someone who performs consistently and demonstrates further potential, there will be opportunities to broaden their responsibilities and grow with Marrime over time.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time position working 40 hours across five days from Monday to Sunday.
As weekends are key trading days for Marrime, applicants must be able to commit to regular weekend working as a normal and continuing part of the role. The position also includes one evening shift per week.
The precise working pattern will be determined by the boutique rota and may change in line with the needs of the business.
