BRIDAL STYLIST & STUDIO ASSISTANT
Location: Marrime Bridalwear, Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week, weekend availability essential)
Marrime is an award-winning bridal boutique in the heart of Jesmond, representing leading international designers and known for its calm, modern, fashion-led approach to bridal styling.
Every appointment at Marrime is an experience – personal, uplifting and beautifully executed. Our boutique blends creativity and professionalism in equal measure, offering an inspiring environment for both brides and team members.
We’re now looking for a Bridal Stylist & Studio Assistant to join our growing team. This is an all-round role that supports both the styling and operational sides of the business – perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, organised, boutique environment.
The Role
As a Bridal Stylist & Studio Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of Marrime – from welcoming brides into the boutique to keeping our studio beautifully organised behind the scenes.
In this role, you will:
- Support bridal appointments, helping to create a calm, confidence-building experience for every bride.
- Prepare gowns and accessories ahead of fittings, ensuring each appointment runs smoothly and on time.
- Maintain high presentation standards across the boutique and studio, from dressing rooms to gown rails.
- Assist with stock and studio tasks such as steaming dresses, unpacking deliveries and keeping samples in perfect condition.
- Help with day-to-day operational support – from appointment preparation and diary flow to general boutique housekeeping.
- Contribute to the overall Marrime experience, working closely with the wider team to deliver a consistently exceptional standard of service.
About You
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you:
- Have a genuine love of bridal, fashion and styling.
- Are naturally warm, polished and confident in a client-facing environment.
- Are highly organised, with strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
- Enjoy a varied role that blends hands-on practical tasks with customer interaction.
- Are proactive, reliable and happy working as part of a close-knit, fast-paced team.
- Can commit to regular weekend work, as Saturdays and Sundays are key trading days for the boutique.
