Designer Wedding Dresses from Made With Love
From Thursday 22 October to Saturday 7 November 2026, MWL Bride takes centre stage at Marrime.
As an MWL Bride VIP stockist, the Australian bridal house already has an established place within our Jesmond boutique. For this special event, our permanent MWL Bride collection will be joined by an extended visiting edit, giving brides the opportunity to experience a broader expression of the designer in one appointment.
For brides who have had an MWL Bride gown saved for months, it is an opportunity to discover more.
For those only just beginning to understand their bridal style, it is an introduction to a house that has helped shape the way modern bridal looks and feels.
And for us, it is a chance to celebrate a designer we know incredibly well.
An Australian bridal story that changed the mood
Made With Love began in Australia with a desire to create wedding dresses that felt different: contemporary, beautifully considered and designed around the woman wearing them.
A distinctive handwriting quickly emerged.
Body-skimming silhouettes. Beautifully low backs. Confident necklines. Romantic lace. And the fluid crepe that became one of the signatures most closely associated with the house.
But perhaps what Made With Love changed most successfully was not one particular silhouette.
It was the mood.
The gowns felt unmistakably bridal without becoming overly formal. Sensual without feeling contrived. Beautifully made, but designed to be worn rather than simply admired.
That sense of ease became part of the attraction.
An MWL Bride gown allows the bride to move, celebrate and still feel entirely herself.
What makes MWL Bride different?
Luxury does not always need to mean excess.
MWL Bride has built its identity around a more relaxed expression of it: beautiful fabric, considered fit and silhouettes that allow the woman wearing them to remain at the centre of the look.
That philosophy becomes particularly apparent in the fitting room.
A clean crepe gown can appear deceptively simple on a hanger, then completely transform once it meets the body.
A low back changes the balance of a fitted silhouette.
A corset creates definition.
Lace becomes less about decoration and more about texture.
A detachable drape can alter the mood of a gown without requiring an entirely different look.
It is modern bridal that understands restraint, but never at the expense of personality.
A new chapter for MWL Bride
The signatures remain.
But the latest MWL Bride gowns show a house becoming broader and increasingly confident in its design language.
Where earlier collections became synonymous with fitted crepe, plunging necklines and beautifully low backs, the newer direction introduces more architectural waistlines, fuller silhouettes, sculpted bodices, dimensional lace and fabrics with greater presence.
There is still ease.
There is still femininity.
But there is also a new sense of ceremony.
The MWL Bride woman is no longer defined by one silhouette.
She may still fall in love with the purity of a fitted crepe gown.
But she may equally be drawn to a Basque waist, textural lace, a fuller skirt or a more fashion-led piece of corsetry.
That evolution is what makes this VIP event particularly exciting.
Kai: the MWL signature, refined
Kai represents the cleaner side of contemporary MWL Bride.
Our Marrime sample is created in the house’s signature crepe and paired with the Cruz skirt, creating a sleek, fitted silhouette.
A detachable drape introduces another layer to the design. Worn, it adds softness and movement. Removed, the look becomes cleaner and more pared back.
It is a subtle idea, but an important one.
Modern bridal styling does not always require adding more.
Sometimes the luxury is in having the choice to take something away.
Kai feels recognisably MWL Bride, but with a more considered approach to personalisation — a gown that can change mood without losing its identity.
Weston: lace takes on a new shape
If Kai connects to the MWL Bride many brides already know, Weston demonstrates where the brand is moving.
Dimensional lace brings texture, but it is the architecture of the silhouette that makes Weston feel particularly current.
A clean neckline and defined waist bring clarity to the bodice, while the shape creates a stronger, more fashion-led interpretation of romantic bridal.
This is not lace used simply to make a dress feel feminine.
It becomes part of the silhouette itself.
Weston feels softer than pure minimalism, but more directional than traditional lace bridal — exactly the space many modern brides find themselves drawn towards.
Adeline: structure meets softness
Adeline brings another dimension to the collection.
A structured silhouette gives the gown presence, while carefully placed lace softens the overall look.
It is beautifully balanced.
Romantic, but controlled.
Structured, but still feminine.
Detailed, without anything feeling unnecessary.
For a bride who loves the clarity of a cleaner gown but wants something more tactile and expressive, Adeline sits somewhere particularly interesting between the two.
Monroe: a new kind of glamour
Monroe introduces a different kind of presence.
A sculpted bodice creates definition before giving way to a softer skirt, balancing structure with movement.
The interest comes from the relationship between fabric, proportion and texture rather than embellishment for its own sake.
It feels glamorous, but not in the traditional sense.
And Monroe demonstrates something important about the current MWL Bride direction: the house is no longer defined by one recognisable formula.
Its vocabulary has widened.
Willow: romance, rethought
Willow moves in another direction again.
A strapless, internally structured bodice creates shape and support before opening into a softer, flowing silhouette.
There is romance here, but the construction keeps the gown considered.
It feels feminine without nostalgia.
Soft without becoming overly delicate.
And it is a reminder that some of the most interesting modern bridal sits between categories rather than belonging completely to one.
More MWL Bride, for a limited time
MWL Bride already has an established home at Marrime.
As a VIP stockist, our permanent collection is carefully chosen to show different expressions of the MWL aesthetic rather than repeating one particular look.
For this special event, that collection will be joined by an extended visiting edit of additional MWL Bride gowns.
What makes the opportunity interesting is not simply having more dresses in the boutique.
It is being able to compare them.
Clean crepe beside textural lace.
Fitted silhouettes beside greater volume.
Low backs beside more architectural waistlines.
Romance expressed through softness in one gown and through structure in another.
It allows a bride to experience the breadth of MWL Bride — and perhaps discover that the version of the brand she loves most is not the one she expected.
Why experience MWL Bride at Marrime?
Being an MWL Bride VIP stockist means this is not simply a visiting name at Marrime.
It is a designer we work with throughout the year.
Our stylists understand the gowns, the fabrics and the details that can be difficult to appreciate from an image alone: how crepe feels on the body, how the placement of a waist changes proportion, how different bodices create support and how one detachable styling piece can alter the balance of an entire look.
That knowledge matters.
Because a bridal appointment should never feel like working through a rail of dresses.
It should feel edited.
Your Marrime stylist will listen to what you think you want, but also pay attention to what happens once the gowns are on — which silhouettes bring confidence, which fabrics feel natural and which details suddenly matter more in the mirror than they ever did on a screen.
And if the right dress takes the appointment beyond MWL Bride, we will explore that too.
The designer may bring you through the door.
Finding the dress is still about you.
The Marrime experience
Our Jesmond boutique gives bridal fashion the space to be experienced properly.
Beautiful natural light.
Private fitting rooms.
One-to-one styling.
And the time to look beyond the first impression.
MWL Bride is particularly rewarding in that setting because so much of the collection is about proportion, movement and feeling.
These are gowns that can appear beautifully simple online and become something entirely different once worn.
A lace you had not considered suddenly feels modern.
A fuller skirt feels easier than expected.
A neckline changes the way you hold yourself.
Or the gown you were certain you came to try leads you towards something you had never considered at all.
That discovery is part of the Marrime experience.
