When we began work on the new Marrime website, we knew we couldn’t settle for “pretty pictures.” Our brides deserve more than that — and so does the story of Marrime.
⭐︎
The new site had to feel like stepping into our Jesmond boutique for the very first time: the quiet hum of excitement, the reassuring scent of Maison Francis Kurkdijian, the way our stylists lean in and really listen. Every detail had to translate into something visual, something tangible, something unforgettable.
⭐︎
So, we set out to create a shoot that would be more than a content day. It would be a love letter to the Marrime bride — her journey, her joy, her moment. And to bring it to life, we brought in two people who understand that better than most: celebrated photographer Adam Watson and long-time Marrime muse Felicity Rose.

The Vision – Telling the Marrime Story Through Imagery
The Marrime bride is many things. She’s modern but embraces timeless elegance. She’s confident yet soft. She knows herself and wants a wedding dress that reflects that.
From the very start of her journey — when she clicks “book appointment” — she’s invited into something personal. A private, luxurious space where her vision matters. Our stylists guide her through each step, from exploring silhouettes to finding the veil that makes her eyes light up.
For the shoot, we wanted to capture every stage of that experience. Not just the final “yes to the dress” moment, but the smaller, quieter details too:
- The first glance in the mirror, seeing herself as a bride for the very first time.
- The gentle drape of silk as a stylist adjusts a train.
- The sparkle of accessories catching the light, signalling the transformation from “trying” to “becoming.”
This wasn’t about staging a scene — it was about bottling the emotion that happens here every day.
Behind the Scenes – The Shoot Day
The morning began like any other Marrime styling day, with a little extra sparkle. Gowns steamed to perfection. Veils gently fluffed. Shoes unboxed and arranged like jewels.
⭐︎
Adam Watson, camera in hand, moved through the boutique with a quiet, watchful energy — always waiting for that moment when Felicity’s expression shifted from model to bride. “The magic happens between the poses,” he told us, “in those unguarded seconds where she forgets the camera’s there.”
⭐︎
Felicity, who has worn countless Marrime gowns over the years, slipped into her first look as though she’d been born to wear it. She understands the Marrime bride instinctively, bringing an elegance and ease to each gown that feels lived-in, not styled.
⭐︎
Little moments became some of our favourite shots:
⭐︎
- A candid laugh as the hem of a gown brushed past her heels.
- The way she reached for a veil and let it fall over her shoulders, eyes closed, as though she were already standing at the aisle.
The quiet concentration as a stylist fastened delicate buttons at her back.
The Dresses & Styling – Featured Looks
Every gown in the shoot was chosen for a reason — to show the range of a Marrime bride’s journey, from sleek modernism to soft romance.

1. KYHA Bride - Winton
The Winton gown is a luminous duchess satin showstopper, combining a smooth, structured bodice with off-shoulder straps and an asymmetric draped skirt with a side split. Designed to accentuate curves and movement, it’s the ultimate old-money statement with cult-icon allure. Styled simply with our Harlo Daniela diamanté point heels and KYHA Bride Bardot Sheath Floral veil. This look is for the bride who loves minimalism but demands impact.

2. Sarah Seven - Candy
Sarah Seven Candy gown is the embodiment of elegance and sophistication. The beautiful curved strapless neckline and boned bodice gracefully accentuates the figure. Delicate pearl and crystal embellishments adorn the gown both front and back. The column skirt style with back slit is both chic and timeless. Paired with Tulle Opera Gloves and Perry Overskirt, it became a vision of playful femininity.

3. Alena Leena – Dahlia
The Dahlia gown by Alena Leena is the epitome of romantic opulence — a Chantilly lace ball gown layered over a subtle shimmer that dances under candlelight, making every step on the aisle or dance floor unforgettable. Its full skirt and intricate lacework create a luminous, storybook bridal moment. Styled with the Alena Leena Veronica Veil in Italian corded lace, it’s an effortlessly cohesive and ethereal pairing.

4. Trish Peng - Lydia
The Trish Peng Lydia gown exudes timeless elegance with its off-the-shoulder neckline and soft draping across the bodice. Crafted from sumptuous satin, it skims the body in a flawless tailored fit, while delicate ruching and a basque waistline sculpt a beautifully refined silhouette. Styled with the Harlo Freya Crystal Buckle Point heels and Jennifer Behr Tatiana Earrings, this look offers a touch of modern sparkle to a classic design.

5. Jane Hill – Scottie
The Jane Hill Scottie gown is a strapless mikado mini with a luminous pearl sheen, bespoke pearl trim, and a figure-hugging silhouette. Finished with a triple-layered tassel for sparkle and movement, we styled it with the Made With Love Isobel Veil, Milla Nova Aveline Satin Gloves, and Harlo Frances Pearl Heel Points — creating the ultimate bridal mini look for an unforgettable aisle moment.

Translating In-Store Magic to Online
The challenge in designing our new website was simple: how do you make someone feel welcome, understood, and celebrated without them even stepping through the door?
The answer lay in this shoot. By capturing the Marrime experience — the way a bride interacts with a gown, how our stylists engage with her, the boutique’s light-filled atmosphere — we could create a visual journey that mirrors the in-store one.
When you land on our homepage, you’ll see Felicity in motion, gowns moving as they do when you walk, veils floating midair. On our appointment page, you’ll find imagery that shows exactly what to expect: calm, beautiful, personal moments.
Each gown page now feels like opening the door to your fitting room — you can almost feel the fabrics and hear the gentle rustle of silk.
Experience it for yourself.
