When we first heard about Aimee and Ewan’s plans, it was clear their wedding would be picture perfect. On August 6th, the couple were married at Newton Hall in a relaxed and intimate ceremony, surrounded by 80 of their closest family and friends, with their day unfolding beautifully.

As evening arrived, the celebrations grew to 120 guests, bringing warmth, laughter, and a lively atmosphere that carried on well into the night. Every part of the day reflected Aimee and Ewan’s approach, meaningful, personal, and focused on the people they love most.

"Grace loves lace Pierlot Lace Veil, The lace stood out so beautifully against my dress. For my shoes I wore Jimmy choo Saeda Sandal, they were super comfortable and it was great to show them off when I changed into my evening dress."
Was your wedding aesthetic inspired by fashion, travel, art, or anything personal?
"Definitely fashion - The interior of Newton Hall lends itself so well to the vision I wanted to create. A beautiful summers day filled with the best vibes and nothing but love! I loved the wooden interior and the colour green so it was easy to make my vision come to life!"
Newton Hall really does have such a stunning interior, and it’s easy to see how it brought your vision to life. Who created your hair and makeup look, and what was your brief to them?
Georgia Peters (hairbygeorgiapeters) - glamorous hollywood waves. Jenny Ross - soft glam, I wanted to still look and feel like myself but with a glam edge.
Your most unforgettable moment of the day
"Seeing my vision come to life - 6 weeks before our wedding I opted for an outdoor wedding.. There was a storm on Monday but by Wednesday I woke up to gorgeous sunshine. Looking out of the window down onto the wedding circle and seeing Ewan stood there looking amazing was the best feeling!"
Describe your palette — were there any colours, textures or florals that anchored
"Moss green was a base for bridesmaids / invitations / table stationery complimented with fanned out white roses."
Tell us about the florals.
"Styled and Seated by Teri Coates - Teri created the most elegant floral display. I used fanned out white roses for bouquets and single fanned out white roses for table displays and aisle clusters."
Any standout styling or décor moments you adored?
"I added personalised mirrors for photo opportunities and created our own seating chat using luggage tags. We also had a neon light made and created a wooden arch to display it behind our top table."
What made you choose Marrime and can you describe your expereince in three words?
"I had followed your store online for sometime and I just felt your aesthetic suited me down to the ground. Modern and glamorous! I would say my experience felt Unforgettable, enjoyable, and professional!"
