On a golden midsummer evening, under the soft glow of studio lights and the delicate perfume of artistry and emotion, Marrime opened its doors to something truly extraordinary. On June 26th, we welcomed an intimate gathering of brides, tastemakers, and bridal insiders into the world of Maison Francis Kurkdjian — a name synonymous with scented luxury — for a very special soirée that redefined the bridal experience.
★
This wasn’t simply an event. It was a celebration of two worlds where craftsmanship meets couture, where personal style is elevated by scent memory, and where becoming a bride is marked not only by the gown you wear, but by the way you feel — and the way you’ll always remember it.

The Vision
The idea behind the collaboration was beautifully simple: to bring together the art of fragrance and the fashion of bridalwear in one curated, emotionally charged evening. We believe that bridal beauty extends beyond the visual — it’s about emotion, atmosphere, and energy. What you wear, how you move, what lingers in the air as you walk past your partner for the first time. Every detail becomes part of your story.
In Maison Francis Kurkdjian, we found a partner that understands that instinctively. Known for creating iconic scents like Baccarat Rouge 540, Aqua Universalis, and À la rose, the French fragrance house is revered for its emotional resonance and sensory storytelling. Like a Marrime gown, a fragrance by MFK isn’t just about beauty — it’s about meaning. Identity. Intention.
So, we set out to create a moment — something rare, intimate, and unforgettable — where fragrance became part of the dress journey.

The Setting
The Marrime studio was transformed for the evening into a sanctuary of scent and style. Our signature neutral tones and architectural details provided the perfect canvas for the rich, romantic energy Maison Francis Kurkdjian brought into the space. Florals by Bels Flowers added moments of softness and colour, most notably through the single, striking red rose that greeted each guest — a symbolic gesture inspired by Baccarat Rouge 540’s signature hue.
Candles flickered gently. Delicate music floated through the air. Glasses of champagne sparkled under the lights. There was a stillness and elegance to the space — a quiet anticipation that made every moment feel special.
Guests arrived dressed in silks, linens, and effortless tailoring, a sea of style and sophistication. Among them were our beautiful Marrime brides and their bridal parties, alongside industry professionals and creatives who share our love for craftsmanship, individuality, and emotion-driven luxury.
Each guest received an exclusive Maison Francis Kurkdjian gift bag upon arrival, featuring a curated edit of signature fragrance mini’s to explore throughout the evening — from floral to musky, citrusy to woody, the full spectrum of emotion laid out to discover.

The Experience
Our goal for the evening was not to sell a product — it was to create a feeling. A shift. A moment of pause in the fast-paced world of wedding planning to reconnect with oneself. And we did so through fragrance.
With the guidance of the Maison Francis Kurkdjian team — joined by fragrance specialists from Harrods Beauty — guests were invited to explore the sensory universe of MFK. This wasn’t just about sampling scents. It was about storytelling. About self-discovery. About asking questions like: What does love smell like to me? What do I want to feel on the morning of my wedding? How do I want to be remembered?
Our guests learned about fragrance layering, scent wardrobes, and the incredible role scent plays in memory. We discussed the power of fragrance — how the right perfume can not only enhance a bridal look, but also transport us back in time, long after the day is over. Much like a dress, your wedding scent becomes a part of your legacy. It lives in your memories, in your partner’s embrace, in the air as you walk into your ceremony. It's invisible, but unforgettable.
The experts listened attentively to each bride’s story and vision — whether she was romantic, minimal, whimsical, or sensual — and matched her with a scent that would become an integral part of her wedding day ritual. For some, it was an immediate connection — one spritz and they knew. For others, it was a journey through notes and nuances, much like the process of finding the perfect gown.
The beauty of the evening was in its pace. It wasn’t rushed or transactional. It was personal, delicate, and deeply intentional.

The Details
No Marrime moment is complete without beautiful details — and this event was no exception.
We partnered with Rebecca Writes Designs, the calligraphy artist known for her exquisitely romantic hand-lettering, to add a final flourish to the evening. Brides who selected their fragrance had the option to personalise their bottle with their wedding date, initials, or future surname — a bespoke keepsake they could cherish forever. Seeing each bottle come to life with delicate ink strokes was magic — a gentle reminder that love, like fragrance, is all about the details.
As guests mingled and sipped champagne, the store felt alive with connection. Laughter echoed softly. Fragrance notes swirled in the air. Red roses peeked out from handbags and coat pockets. It was an evening that felt both opulent and grounded — a testament to the way luxury can still be deeply human.

The Heart of It All
At the centre of the evening was a powerful truth: your wedding fragrance is one of the most emotional choices you’ll make.
It may seem small compared to the venue, the dress, or the guest list — but your scent is the one thing that lingers. Long after the flowers have dried, the cake has been eaten, and the music has faded, it’s your fragrance that brings you back.
Back to that morning, brushing your hair and fastening your gown.
Back to that moment you stepped into the aisle.
Back to the laughter, the dancing, the emotion.
Back to the moment you said “I do.”
That’s the essence of scent. It transcends time. It becomes a portal — one you can revisit for the rest of your life.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian understands this better than anyone. Their fragrances are not just compositions of ingredients. They are emotional landscapes. They are poems. They are moments in a bottle. And that is exactly what we wanted to offer our brides — a way to preserve their day in the most intimate, elegant way possible.

A New Chapter for Marrime
With the success of the evening, we’re delighted to announce that a curated selection of Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrances is now exclusively available at Marrime Bridalwear. This marks the beginning of a beautiful new chapter for us — one where bridal styling goes beyond the dress.
We’re not just helping you find the perfect gown anymore. We’re helping you style your moment — every detail, every emotion, every memory.
So whether you're at the beginning of your bridal journey or just adding those final touches, our team is here to guide you — not just in choosing what to wear, but in choosing how you want to feel, and how you want to remember it all.
A Night to Remember
As the evening drew to a close, guests left with personalised fragrance bottles in hand, red roses tucked gently into their arms, and golden MFK gift bags swinging by their sides. But more than that, they left with a memory. A feeling. A piece of themselves reflected back through scent.
And that was the magic of the night. Not just in what we created — but in what it meant.
It was a celebration not just of weddings, but of self-expression, emotion, and intention. A tribute to the modern bride — sophisticated, stylish, and deeply connected to her story.
It was a night where bridal fashion met fragrance, where gowns met emotion, and where the ordinary became extraordinary.
A night where everything was beautiful — because everything meant something.
The scent doesn’t fade when the wedding ends. It becomes part of your story.
And that is a memory worth celebrating.
With all our love,
The Marrime Team
