“Alter Ego” A Study In The Symphony Of Contrasts.
Alter Ego, Chosen by KYHA’s latest 13-piece collection, explores the concept of inner duality and self-acceptance, offering the opportunity for women to express their individuality in sartorial form.
Artfully blending softness with hardness, signature draping contrasts with highly structured, drop waist bodices. The indulgence of luxe new silhouettes in countered by a pared back minimalist aesthetic.
The collection’s shoot location, Esperance, Western Australia, acts as a natural canvas to contrast the manmade Alter Ego pieces, and subliminal references to the antipodean landscape pervade the collection.

“At its most literal, each piece is named after an area in and around Esperance,” Scott said. “We also discovered that iconic Perth band Tame Impala, created a song which is fundamentally about self-acceptance, Alter Ego. So we named the collection after Alter Ego as an ode to Western Australia and its natural and created beauty.”
