The Biggest (And Best) Bridal Fashion Week Trends For 2024

Introduction

December was a time for reflecting on the year behind us while looking forward to what’s to come, and following an all-round exquisite Bridal Fashion Week both at home (London Bridal Fashion Week) and across the pond (New York Bridal Fashion Week) we thought what better way to toast to 2024 than taking a look back at our favourite runway looks and predict what bridal fashion trends we think we’ll see more of adorning aisles in the New Year.

1. “Tying” The Knot

Traditionally you may have seen a bow or two in a bride’s accessories but as many designers have shown in the recent New York Bridal Fashion Week, they’re coming into their own as an integral detail of gown structure, and we think they’re here to stay as a permanent bridal trend. From bow-ed bodices (à la Elie Saab’s Fall 2024 line) to dramatic trains (a masterclass in bridal couture from Alena Leena Bridal) the runway had it all.

Whether big and bold is your style, or you prefer a dainty nod to this timeless, feminine trend, we have an array of options in-store ready to ‘wrap up’ your bridal look for 2024;

2. Brit-Cool Mini’s

From its British roots dating way back to the 1960’s, nothing screams Brit-cool quite like mini dresses and the classic mini skirt look. If we weren’t already in awe when we saw Chanel reinvent their couture classic for Sofia Richie Grainge at undoubtedly the wedding day of the year this Spring, then the release of one of our most-loved stockists, Made With Love’s latest collection would sure do it…

3. Interchangeable Gowns

Wedding dress trends are often hard to predict as each year wedding’s are proving to be bigger and better than the last, and if you dream of going big with two dresses for your big day, then this next trend could really be “the one”.

Our Made With Love Grayson gown has the timeless and classic fitted silhouette, that can be elevated by-day by pairing the matching full crepe removable skirt for added glamour. Made With Love are one of the most well-known bridal designers throughout the bridal world with their wedding dresses and accessories bringing the perfect balance of drama to walk down the aisle by day, with a sleek fitted style for the celebrations that follow…

4. Jump To It

If you’re one for going against the many traditional norm’s when it comes to a wedding, then Viktor and Rolf’s 2024 bridal line may inspire you to ditch the gown, and opt for a tailored trouser – the perfect piece to take from day to night!
